K Startup attended the 2025 Vancouver Web Summit to explore the latest trends in the Canadian tech ecosystem and seek global expansion opportunities for Korean startups.
Event Overview
The 2025 Vancouver Web Summit is the largest technology conference in Western Canada, attended by over 5,000 technology leaders, investors, and startup founders from around the world. K Startup attended the event with a Korean startup delegation to explore the latest trends in key technology areas including AI, fintech, and cleantech.
Key Activities
At the summit, K Startup operated a Korean startup booth, introducing over 10 Korean startups to Canadian investors and partners. We also participated in a panel discussion on "The Future of the Asia-Pacific Startup Ecosystem," emphasizing the importance of Korea-Canada startup collaboration.
Results & Future Plans
Through this attendance, we conducted over 20 business meetings and discovered 5 potential partnership opportunities. We particularly confirmed strong interest from Canadian companies in Korean startups in the AI and SaaS sectors. K Startup plans to expand its investment connection program in the second half of the year based on these networking results.
