Event Overview
The KATEC (Korea-Canada Advanced Technology Exchange Conference) 2025 Demo Day is an event where 12 Korean startups that completed K Startup's accelerating program presented their business achievements to Canadian investors and corporate partners. Held in Vancouver, the demo day was attended by over 50 investors and more than 100 industry professionals.
Participating Startups
The 12 startups participating in this demo day showcased innovative solutions across various fields including AI, biotech, fintech, cleantech, and SaaS. Each startup presented their business model and growth strategy through an 8‑minute pitch and 5‑minute Q&A session.
Investment Results
Immediately after the demo day, 4 startups received Letters of Intent (LOI), and investment discussions totaling CAD 5M began. Additionally, 3 startups secured pilot project opportunities with major Canadian corporations. K Startup plans to host regular demo days twice a year based on the success of this event.
